V-Bar Rows | How to Perform V-Bar Rows | Powerlift Pro App
The standing V-bar row is a variation of the T-bar row that is done standing with a barbell and v-bar attachment. Here are the steps to perform the standing V-bar row with a barbell:
- Start by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart and your knees slightly bent.
- Hold a V-bar attachment on a straight barbell with an overhand grip, palms facing down, and hands about shoulder-width apart.
- Bring the bar up to your chest level, keeping your elbows close to your body.
- Pull the bar towards your chest by retracting your shoulder blades and squeezing your back muscles. Keep your elbows close to your body as you pull.
- Pause briefly at the top of the movement, then slowly lower the bar back down to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Tips:
Keep your core engaged and your back straight throughout the exercise to avoid excessive swinging or arching of the back.
Make sure to use a weight that allows you to maintain proper form and control throughout the exercise.
